The most beautiful jeans is Levi’s 501XX 1944

Bought in 2009 at Levi’s Flagship boutique at Raffles City Singapore. Hand painted “Doves” on left leg band. Worn and wash many times. 1944 model is the pair with WWII history. I really enjoy checking the unique details on it.

Size 30////Made in USA///Worn occasionally since 2009

Momotaro diary: a worm eye view

My Momo still looking deep indigo. Though the whiskers and honeycombs are established beautifully. I foresee the fading will turn out to be stronger after the next coming wash.

Momotaro diary: 12 month old

faded spots at tips of back pockets by sitting.
fraying by my tote bag I carried everyday.
faded zero fighter by momotaro denim wallet. Semi permanent acrylic does the work.
leather leather patch bruises by Harley Davidson leather belt.
Crotch stitches fraying. Surprised me so prematurely early.

How time flies, my young buddy is 1 year old. Here are the close up details of the faded and fraying spots.

Lookbook Levi’s 501XX

While I’m washing my Momotaro 0705sp. Here I am in my treasured Levi’s 501XX 1944 Jeans and Squaw Valley flannel shirt and Converse Chuck Taylor denim. Though they are old but they are timeless.

Momotaro diary: stair climbing

My favourite exercise with my favourite jeans since Eternal 883 and Eternal 888. Now here with my new buddy Momotaro 0705sp. Stair climbing is great for honeycombs and whiskers. It also great for my stamina.

Momotaro diary: Christmas is near

Maybe it is time for vinegar wash?

Momotaro diary: art of momo

Winsor & Newton indigo watercolour on watercolour paper

It was therapeutic painting my favourite jeans, and studying the honeycomb. So much to discover art in denim jeans. Maybe I should try more often.
