My regular exercise in my favourite pair of jeans. Eternal 888 is perfect for outdoor. Regular cutting has more room for knee cap area. Comparing to Eternal 883, Eternal 888 has less distress areas for all the outdoor activities such as parkour, climbing and running.
My usual stair climb with my buddy. 3 steps per stride. My denim exercise to break my Eternal 888. Obvious contrast fading after the 3rd vinegar wash. The beautiful indigo is delicious. That’s how I would describe it hahaha
Hello to my retired old beloved buddy Eternal 883. I couldn’t leave him sitting at home and mould. Somehow I placed him indoor and folded was a bad idea. The 10th vinegar wash was necessary. The 9th wash was on March 2015! This week I saw a great denim repair master in Osaka on Instagram. I was thinking bringing my buddy back again hahaha. OK for the record: Size 30/34///since 2011///1 soak///10 vinegar washes///14.5oz Kurashiki selvedge denim
It’s hot afternoon at MacRitchie Reservoir. Nice view. Spectacular. But the walk to reach was tough. Anyway good for my Eternal 888. 1 year 7 months worn 5 days per week 1 soak 2 washes.
Yes. Levi’s 501XX 1944 is the most beautiful denim jeans in my opinion. Backed with WWII history, laurel button, donut buttonfly, olive pocket bags to hand painted arcuate. Here in the picture photographer Bryan Goh at Bishan Park bird-watching trip.
Eternal 888 (left) has bigger honeycomb than Eternal 883 (right). Both jeans in pix are 1 yr old. 883 got its atari much faster than 888 🙂 Still much to experience with my new buddy 888.
1 yr 1 mth///1 soak///1 wash///worn 5 days/week. As I promised last month here are the closeup details of this wonderful buddy. You can see sharp contrast fading “Atari” at those distress points created by my bag everyday. Train tracks are not very obvious comparing to tighter silhouette 883 was much earlier. Nevertheless honeycombs are beautiful than 883! It’s has been 6 months since last wash so slight odour now. Vinegar bath for buddy soon. Will update more next month. Photos by Canon EOS 600D.
