It has been a long time posting my beloved Eternal 888 fade diary. My buddy is already 3 year and 6 months old! What I would like to say is, the regular cut has a roomy movement for legs and create bigger honeycombs. Compared to my previous Eternal 883, it actually lasts longer than I’ve expected. Distressed areas are less likely to occur. Less fraying or ripping on knees. Maybe I’ve spent less time on sports. Hiroshige’s artwork is well faded. With 6 vinegar wash, and still looking deep in most parts, this is truly the hallmark of Eternal deep indigo!
I know most denimheads wanted quick fading but I prefer natural fade, I’ve learnt to care for denim. Be patient. Ok, wait for the next 6 months for the update.
Eternal 888. 3 years 6months. Worn 5 days/week. 1 soak 6 wash. 14.5oz Kurashiki denim.
My dear Eternal 888 buddy went for the vinegar hot bath. Will update the cleaned image after that. Stay tune.
My trip to 3 fresh water aquarium shops in one day! Bought 2 female neon blue gobies, black worms and a filter. I made special photo record with my 3 yr 2 mth old buddy. I enjoy staring at those Eternal 888 honeycombs.
How time flies. My 888 buddy is 3 years old with me. Thanks to Maeno for the lovely gift. Today is Singapore 53rd National Day. So it is great to celebrate both occasions. Let’s talk about details. The fadings are impressive. For these regular cutting , the honeycombs are much more larger. Great for outdoor. Though I think I still prefer tighter version 883 🙂 Size: 31 / Kurashiki 14.5oz denim / wear: almost daily / wash: 5
A park along Kahthib. Spotted many parakees.
It has been a long time since my last post. This is the first post in 2018 and it is Chinese New Year! My beautiful Eternal 888 is here with me. Size 31. 1 soak 4 wash. If you notice I have adopted a new leg cuff over the big cuff. I was wearing my hand painted Converse on Psalms 109:105.
My usual stair climb with my buddy. 3 steps per stride. My denim exercise to break my Eternal 888. Obvious contrast fading after the 3rd vinegar wash. The beautiful indigo is delicious. That’s how I would describe it hahaha
